Hello Anet,

Like the title says, how about a nice sale on characters slots? It’s been some time since that last one. Unfortunately, that one was during the time there was an issue with the currency exchange. I’m sure I’m not the only one who missed out then and is still waiting for the sale to come around again.

There’s been quite a lot of new Skins & Outfits lately. I’ll wager there’s more than a few people who might want a new toon to display those costumes on. I’ll also bet the Altoholics might be looking forward to this kind of sale. Some folks can never have enough characters.

So how about it? Could we please have a sale on Character Slots?

I just buy the character slot, it’s not that you can only buy it when it’s on sale though I get it; something cheaper for the same is always nice. Remember, you can always use the credit card to buy gems, it’s not that expensive.

There will surely be a Character slot sale soon, either right before or right after the HoT release, for all those Revenant and Specialization characters.

I believe we will all be getting a free slot with the expansion anyway.

if the company holds to its roots and does like it did in GW1 there will be 5 new toon slots with the game. and i for one hope they hold to this

but yet it would be nice to see a sale on toon slots as well very soon

ProtoGunner, I never pay full price for anything. Except my Harley! Most everything else in life comes on sale at some point in time. Just my personal choice, but I’d prefer to wait rather than spend extra coin. Even virtual coin has some minor value. Although, I’ll admit to dropping my CC down in GW1 for the 2 extra slots. But there was no other option in those days.

Ham, If memory serves me, and sometimes it doesn’t. I believe GW:F & GW:N could be played as “Stand Alone” games. I think each came with 4 slots. But if you added them to your GW:P account, they only produced 2 extra slots. I believe it was the Beta for GW:F that gave 1 free character slot to those of us that took part in it.

All those roots that was from GW1 has for long since been shredded, torn apart and fed to rat, or a Scritt.

Sad face =(

GW2 is still a good game, but I would pay a 100 sub fee for a true successor to GW1.

There was never 5 new slots in gw1. Each chapter gave you 2 if you linked it to an existing chapter and 4 if it was standalone. That was because the other 2 chapters each introduced 2 new professions.

I would assume HoT will have 1 extra slot for the 1 new profession.
