Guild Wars 2

Hello there, fellow forum readers and/or Moderators, I made a stupid mistake… I made my character female (for dem lolz) and leveled the character to level 54, but now I’m regretting this, but I can’t only change the looks… I need to change the name too, as there aren’t many male characters running around with the name “Sujiana” is there (I don’t want to be one of them if they exists), anyways, I just purchased a secret amount of Gems to change my character’s appearance, and I don’t want to lose my level 54 (warrior) because I don’t have too much time to play GW2, so is there any way I can get in contact with Arena or something and make them change my character name? It would’ve been great, and made my in-game experience better.

Sorry to hear, but there aren’t currently chance to change name. It surely is coming but don’t think it comes in this next patch.

You could just keep playing it and just wait for name change to be possible…

There is a name change contract listed in the TP, but it’s not actually ingame yet.

A few weeks ago someone was asking about it, and a dev replied. They didn’t say when it would be out but they hinted strongly that it would be in the next update (the one today).
So yea, hopefully it’ll be in this update, it was only a hint after all though so it may not be.

Just like Timze and Big Boss said nowadays is impossible to change the name. The team is working on that.
