Guild Wars 2

First off, I know this issue probably affects less than 1% of players. I am personally sat at 69 character slots (the cap) but would LOVE to be able to buy up to 90 so I could have one of each race/profession/sex on one account. I do have the 90 between two accounts, but there are so many things (wardrobe, endless tools, endless merch, hairkits etc) that make this very very unwieldy.
Is there a chance the cap might be lifted from 69 to 90+
Does anyone else even care?

Get full ascended gear on them all and then ask again in 5years.

Pretty much in the same boat. Leveled 69 characters to 80 on my main and was hoping to see them increase the max number to at least 90 for the exact same reason. Currently having to use another account just to make myself feel complete with the other 21. Would enjoy having them all on same account. I agree since its something most don’t care about I would be surprised if we see a change.

Given that the only people that have gotten to the old limit are likely to buy a second account and use the gemstore to bring it up to speed to complete the 90 (or whatever), there’s little money for them in expanding the current limit.

Furajir, honestly for me it was just something to do. It’s really no different that those who run fractals everyday or when people ran dungeons everyday over and over. People have their preference of how to occupy their time and to each their own.
After I did dungeons so many times week after week finished fractal to 100. Im not an ap farmer so don’t care about those. Leveling and mapping is just something I enjoyed.

Palador I had considered what you said. It does not profit Anet to spend any time or resources to increase the cap. One can hope though.

I have to ask, how did you level all those Elites?

I have 19 characters and want to buy more, not 69 but 35-40 sounds like a good fix but I’m having issues levelling Elites for WvW to be able to progress with my toonaholic addiction…

I don’t really PvE but maybe there’s a trick somehow so it doesn’t feel so grindy? I’ve only unlocked 4/19 Elites since HoT

HoT HP 10 points each. There is a lot that’s either commune or the can be done solo. Dulfy has a list of all the easy ones and there is more than enough to get your elites just from her guides.

Proof of Heroics is going account bound, so we’ll have that soon as WvW players. For myself, it takes about 4 hours to get all the HP’s for a Specialization now. HP farming is easy and asking for help works.

I think it is great that you have so many characters. I have 20 but I know I am not done yet. I do have another account but I am not including that as I rarely play it. I hope you get your wish OP and danielrjones.
