So I just tried to TP to Kessex Hills and my character is stuck trying to load in there. I restarted the game and I’m still at the loading screen. It’s been about 10 minutes and I’m not sure what to do….

HELP!

Confirmed. I was able to log into LA just fine. When I tried to get into Kessex I also get stuck at the loading screen.

Edit: after a couple minutes I get a “game client lost connection” message, with error code 7:0:0:794:101

Edit 2: character is now apparently “in” Kessex, even though it never loaded. So I can no longer load into that character without it getting stuck on the Kessex loading screen.

Friend tried to TP to Fort Selma and is stuck now too.

Try guesting to another server, sometimes that can get you to select a different, less problematic shard.

I’m also having same problem except I’m stuck on Lion’s Arch loading screen. I’ve tried guesting, repairing my game, and even uninstalling and re installing my game but nothing has worked.

I would start a new thread and pop in the bugs subforum so it has better visibility to those who can sort such an issue

It’s likely whichever IP that your character is defaulting too. I had the issue with EotM and couldn’t access my character until the current match ended (3 hour one). Guesting has worked for people in other maps as it puts you into another instance of that map which isn’t bugged.

How strange. I just checked with an alt, I can get into Kessex hills just fine. I went through the gate instead of waypointing.

The IP for me is 196. Just keep trying to log back in, I guess?

How strange, I remember in the betas getting stuck in Kessex… Fun times…

I think I found a solution, find a program of your choice that uses OpenVPN and use that. It worked for me, haven’t gotten stuck in one loading screen after I started using it. Just for reference the program I use is FrozenWay.
