As Charged Lodestones and Charged Cores continue charging up in price at alarming rates, it’s becoming more and more apparent that something needs to be done to the drop rates of these rare materials to meet the demand.

In the past 2-3 days, Charged Cores rose from an average 1 gold highest bidder/1 gold 10 silver lowest seller to a rate of 1 gold 25 silver highest bidder/1 gold 50 silver lowest seller. That is an increase of 25% to the highest bidder and about 40% to the lowest seller in about 3 days, with no signs of stopping.

Charged Lodestones are currently used in 3 of the most popular legendaries (Dawn, Bolt, and Eternity) and 1 not-so-popular legendary (the Meteorologus.) With their rising price, more players will turn towards gold sellers and regular players will see these legendaries as becoming increasingly unreachable.

In other words, Crucible of Eternity needs improvements to incentivize more players to run it and the cores and lodestones need a higher droprate from the few enemies that do drop them. Air Elemental/Spark farming is boring and yields few non-lodestone drops with pitiful rates on the stones and cores.

If the charged lodestones go up in prices, it will be incentive enough for people to go to COE. When people start looking at the prices and try to farm COE, the prices will stabilize. Nothing needs to be done.

Just need to add more Lightning Elementals on other maps.

I can do thirty Five-Dolyak Arm Curls.

Do you even lift, bro?

It’s not so much the quantity of them as it is the drop rate of shards, cores, lodestones… It’s an abysmal rate combined with an absurd quantity needed in order to create legendary items…. basically, the story of almost every item necessary to create a legendary.

Sure, but that affects all Lodestones.

Compare them to Corrupted Lodestones and you’ll see that part of the problem with Charged Lodestones is that so few mobs drop them. Almost every single mob in Frostgorge can drop Corrupted Lodestones.

Well, maybe not wide-spread, but almost. Lots of different mobs in Frostgorge do drop them.

It actually would help a bit. Currently, you NEED to hold Dwayna to farm them. With a lot of other lodestones – particularly Corrupted – you have a 24/7 farming zone.
