Ive purchased items with real money from the Black Lion Store in the past but recently i havent been playing as often and havent had much of a need to purchase anything from the cash shop, but i would feel more inclined to do so if there was a specific item in the cash shop where some of the profits were going to a special cause outside of the gaming industry because it would be going to a good cause as well rather than just having the item i purchased sitting in my inventory for months on end not being used. Does ArenaNet or NCSOFT see something like this happening at some point in time

They’ve done something like that before in GW1. Pink dye for breast cancer awareness, and something else that I can’t quite recall. That sets a precedent for potentially something similar in GW2, I would think. Probably nothing set in stone though.

They’d have to donate 100% of the proceeds otherwise some people here will make a big fuss over profiting off of other people’s suffering.
