Charr and Medium Armour
well there isnt a stat bonus for wearing a full set of armor…. runes however get stronger the more you got on your armor. How your armor looks is your business… you can transmute any skin to anything of the same type and weight class (like for example medium boots and medium boots) and can so create the look you like. As for medium armors… huh… as best look at them yourself

you also can use the bank to bring up the wardrobe collection where you can see all weapon and armor skins in game sorted by type and weight class to roughly combine stuff and plan ahead your look
The Orrian medium looks fantastic on charr as well as the Sorrows Embrace which is really fitting for an engi and Citadel of flame armor looks solid as well. Just head over to your bank and check out all the armor in the wardrobe tab and mix and match and what not. The amount of armor that looks good on charr is fairly limited when compared to humans and what not but theres still quite a few that look good.
Eladan of Greenwood: 80 Ranger
Elemir Swiftblade: 80 Thief
Charr medium armor is pretty darn ugly. Basicly, its the Norn armor stretched to fit a Charr. And it definetly shows on the textures. Heavy is better for the most part, light is… well, I would never humiliate my Charr characters by forcing them to wear skirts so I dont have any light armor Charr.
Medium armor in general makes your back end look gigantic and stiff. Charr receive the worst of it, though.
imo Charr medium cultural T1 and T3 are the best looking Charr armors
Gem armor is a joke of a grind compared to ascended craft. 800 gems = 100 gold more or less, you can farm that in like 4-8 hours.
The wvw medium armour set (Mist Walker) looks great on a charr engie imho. Get a good mix of brown shades, grab a neat rifle skin and you get an epic wild west flavour.
