What, you want private chat logs between other players (since you can just screenshot your own)?
Aint ever gonna happen and I doubt Anet take any discussion on it.
They save them for reporting purposes regardless
Wouldn’t that be against some privacy policy or something. If something is deserving of referring to chat logs then it is probably something to report.

They do, but its called a private chat for a reason. Anet isnt gonna give out the private chats between other players just because you ask nicely.
But hey there is one certain way you can get them: get a search warrant issued by a court.
If you have an issue with other players there is a report function.
