Thought I would post this since we need weapons for our Zenith skins and some people may not be aware that cheap exotic weapons and armor are available in WvW.

For instance, a zerker staff costs 5.4g on the trading post, 4.2g to craft, but you can purchase one in Eternal Battlegrounds for 1g + 170 badges of honor.

Don’t forget ascended items are cheaper too. Think it’s 10 laurels less + a bunch of badges.

But you can’t get an ascended to transmute for Zenith skins.

Ascended is 20 laurels plus 250 badges I believe, but its still only trinkets. Unless you want to attack your enemy with an ear ring, its not going to work.

Given Anet has given out, what, 500 badges since the AP program began, the potential savings in terms of trinkets via WvW is significant and the heads-up is appreciated.
