i know there is a sticky about botting, but since the last post is 6month old and imo its another issue, i do a new topic.

In the last month i often (1-2 times a day) noticed chaters/hackers who portet to an ori/omnon/chest/whatever, looted it and portet to another.
These have to be cheaters, since i saw ppl spawning at an omnon-spot, then they disappeared and 5-10secs later they spawned again 8m away at the next spot, looted it an disappeared again…
Additionally, what made me even more courious, was that there model was shaking a little…

Its pretty hard to report those, because u have only 5 secs to press the button…

My question is, is this known? Is Anet doing anything against it? I saw a lot of them, even reported 5 or 8, but in the last month it only got worse, not better… :/

How do you know a player didnt just log an alt in and log it back out?

Teleport hacks are fairly well known. I don’t think Arenanet is going to talk about them until after a ban wave, though, as is standard MMO development procedure.

because i saw one char harvesting an omnon, then disappearing.
5-10m away was the next spot and 5-10secs later the same char appeared at that next spot, harvested and disappeared again.
30m away was an ori spot and again 5-10secs later, again the same char appeared, harvested and was gone…

thats not possible without a hack

yep, i know (and like) the way anet deals with chaters.
but since i noticed this a month ago, the hack must be there for a longer time… and it would be nice to hear some statement about this issue. It took only 1-2 month to ban 11k botters, while there were a lot more other things to do for anet.

they are screwing up the AH now for a month
