Then I lol’d at the patch notes. I expected something big to happen, but this is so sad.
Necro: getting sick of condition spec with no dps. Staff marks are great expect auto-attack too slow.

Ranger: short bow is fine, longbow’s not. trap only at my location can’t throw it at the mobs? Just wish I can have more AoE skill on longbow.

Engineer: turrets recharge takes too long. tool kit grenade#1 can I have auto-attack?
Because my finger is tired.

Here’s a question: If you have to delete one of them, who would you choose?

Ranger:

The pet is still annoying, I would rather re-roll a warrior or use other range-focused characters.

All three of them are pretty much up a particularly foul smelling creek without a paddle.

I would say Rangers have it the worst though. Engineers have a truck-load of bugs that AN are in no hurry to fix but Rangers just seem so “meh” in performance even with everything working right.

Sad to say this, but my Ranger, 7 years Ranger in GW1 (my only character), and now the Ranger is borked.

They never saw much love from ArenaNet in GW1, but now I am lost for words.

Promises, and nothing of any use.

Jumping puzzles, love them or hate them, I hate them. Thread killer.

I’d delete the Necromancer, because I don’t care for their visual effects, and I find some of the audio effects grating.

But that’s probably not the type of reasoning you were looking for. >.>

Have you not seen the ability to use Ground Targeting with Ranger traps?

It would have to be my Ranger. As Solid Gold I also played nothing but a Ranger as my main in GW1. Loved the skill set and be able to play interrupt, plus I could “REMOVE MY PET” from my skill bar. This “Ranger” has a companion that’s little less then a meat shield, has no idea what the nearest target is, and even when I pack the worthless thing up… It pops out again when I enter combat, no, no, no stay packed up, you agro everything.

“Alas, poor Yorick” Sigh…
