One of the small improvements I was really looking forward or in the demo (from WP and Aurora Peachy’s vids) was that little white effect that chunked down the health bars on mobs from their previews. Currently from my limited experience in the demo, this is not in place anymore. It seemed to make combat feel more rewarding as part of the visual feedback. Any chance this will make it to the live version?

Glad someone else noticed that, it’s nice to see a clear visual representation of how much of the healthbar you took down. The movement of the health bars also looked more instant which just looks better as well.

this is probably only implemented on the dev client (or alpha client if you wanna call it that), same thing goes for the actual loading bar in the loading screen that was present in the original closed beta of gw2, i miss those thing alot.

- beta login screen
- actual progress loading bar for loading screens
- this new healthbar animation on enemies

I saw this animation a couple of times in current demo. It is probably just bugged or pops up only when you do some huge crits.
