I’m a buy-to-play user, but I want to make sure my information on some of the free-to-play restrictions is correct.

1. Local and Whisper Chat Only: That’s for as long as the account is free-to-play, correct? It doesn’t open up after a certain level or anything like that?

2. Trade “Common” Items: Does this mean free players can only trade “common” items in the Trading House (no blue, green, yellow items, etc.)? I just want to confirm that the word “common” is being used literally.

Any help clarifying these restrictions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. While it doesn’t clear up the “common” items issue; it is very helpful.

I was curious what this meant as well, so I made a free account to see.
It seems to be only common crafting materials (wood, metal, ore, cloth, plants, and blood, bones, venom sacks, totems etc ) and craftable weapons and armor.

They can’t buy or (presuming) sell; food, oil, dyes (except unidentified), minis, weapons/armor/trinkets that drop, loot bags, runes and sigils, lodestones or parts thereof (fragments,slivers, shards, cores) recipes
