Guild Wars 2

Hi I played guild wars 2 from beta then stopped around oct of 2012 and a friend and I have recently returned.. anyways I have a level 80 elementalist and am going to level up something new..

Was just wondering if someone could give me a base idea of how class is now and what they do well in structured pvp, WvW, and PvE..

I understand there are no roles and each class can do everything.. However in my time before, the Elementalist was kind of a jack of all trades master of none type deal and their best quality was their mobility. A friend had a guardian and said that the only useful thing he could do in WvW was heal.

So just any generalized post on what each class does well currently would help me and my friend out tons.. Thanks before hand

What are you looking for in a class? With that, we can give feedback that works for you instead of my opinion, which is clearly going to be biased.
