I’m curious as to whether or not we’re ever be provided with Asura Gate access to Fort Stalwart on Claw Island as I’ve been there a couple of times in the course of the story but outside of that it’s impossible to swim to it, and there is no way to teleport there.

claw island, isn’t that where all the mounts and housing is?

I honestly do not recall. I have a map of it, and it seems dominated by a fort. The last time I was there, it was a full on seafood-assault. I did not see any colonists, but I suspect you mean Southsun Cove, which is accessible from Lion’s Arch.

Ya, weird thing that we can’t be on this Fort indeed...
Would be cool to visit it just for fun and enjoy the view and not fight for your life (and for your allies) against the undead.

And no you cant access it. Just consider it a story instance.

Alga.6498 got the point, wherein NTDK.4897 seems to have completely missed it and I’m immune to sarcasm as I seldom use it or have cause too. I want to be able to visit that location; interact with it, even if it’s just to see the view. What’s wrong with that? ’’LOL’’

No one said that there’s anything wrong with that, just that you can’t do it outside of a story instance.

NTDK was merely pointing out that cheshirefox was being sarcastic — mounts and housing are two things the community has been very vocal about wanting, but will never happen in this game.

ArenaNet’s resources are tied up producing living story content and struggling to keep up with maintenance, thus it’s very unlikely that they’d be willing or able to devote anyone’s time to opening up that small map. They have a cornucopia of bigger fish that need frying.
