Alianza Argentina [ARG] @ Sorrow’s Furnace

Have anyone noticed that we do a lot of unnecessary clicking in this game?
Want to buy a stack worth of an item? Click 250 times. Does that items has an “are you sure?” prompt? Click 500 times.
Want to create lot of stuff on the MF? Click 4 times * amount of items to create. To create 77 Mystic Clovers you need to click about 2250 times.
You get a vial of liquid karma from your daily… so I can click on it? Boosts and banners don’t work anymore, and it’s account bound, just give me the karma as a currency…
The latest comes from the bags of spare ciphers. Somehow, someone thought that the sequence:
Bag -> Bag -> 5 Tokens.
is better than:
Bag -> 5 Tokens.
Ok, so this is kind of a rant thread, but come on! Not only you need to fix stuff like buying a stack of items at once and so on, but do not make the same mistakes on new updates… I don’t understand why on earth would you design this kind of stuff this way when the alternatives are easier and make more sense.
It’s also weird, because from the start GW2 was praised because of “not wasting players time”, which in part is true: Fast crafting, fast traveling, smooth leveling, insta 80 for PvP, etc. I don’t understand why they don’t follow their own philosophy on most of the inventory management.
Ok, /rant over, I guess. I’d just love to see some QoL improvements on future updates. Not only inventory management, but stuff like build templates, better TP filtering, etc.

i agree on some parts, like the other day i wanted to do the drink achievement and bought me 1k wine from a vendor, just to click another 1k times more. got 2k points towards the achievement and will not do this more then once a week
im on 16.000 on the achievement now and guess at my rate it will be another couple months before i finally finish it :P
I don’t actually remember with the Scarlet bags, but is the bag of cypher parts account-bound, and then the parts themselves character-bound? That might be why, if this is the case. If not, then I have no idea why. So you could stack more of them? If they are, indeed, stackable.
Excessive clicking? Nah, I’m only on my 3rd mouse in this game. LOL
Pretty high on my wishlist, yes.
The issue has been thrown around before, even with complete solutions to the problem attached to the ranting.
Nothing has happened yet, but I hope that happens with the QoL / functionality patches that come after LS.
If you think this game has a lot of clicking, just wait till ESO…

Been in the BETAS for ESO and no excessive clicking and pre-ordered already, can’t wait.
I got almost same problem while creating superior siege.
Go to forge, click on wood, click on mithril, click on siege plans, click on rams, click on Forge.
Repeat 100 times, because you use rams a lot.
Alcohol and food dailies/titles say “Hi”. The titles laugh at your mouse buttons, especially the alcohol ones.
No option to change clicks to a keyboard key too? RSI and selling mice is the goal here for Anet?
The clicking could definetly be reduced… at least my inflamatory thumb Think so! The Essence of luck is just pain in the… when it comes to cklicking (together wit a bunch of other things) Whatabout a “use/consume all” option on right klick… for Salvaging, consuming, and using things. Would just take 2 klicks to consume a bunch of luck instead of X hunred klicks a day…
I’m currently on my 2:nd mouse… Due to a GW2 related injury.
I love this game but the sheer ammount of unnesecary klicking is annoying sometimes.
I’m wondering if it is really that hard to implement an option into the context menu that works like “Open X times” or “Open all”.
As a work around, get a mouse that has a mouse wheel that can disengage and spin freely like the Logitech Performance MX. Then map scroll down to left click. Then flick that wheel hard to set it spinning like crazy → Profit.
Don’t forget about the luck clicks, those are even doubleclicks. ( Sometimes I am highly temted to get an autoclicker to go through those stacks )
Theres WAY to much spamclick we have to do, very annoying and dont understand why Anet hasnt came with a open/consume all function right with release

It’s because there are titles associated with breaking your left mouse button that would be pointless (well, more pointless) if we could key in amounts to buy and use consume all like a normal person.
You know you can make higher tier of luck from lower tiers of luck? Even on low lvl artificer.
I know, you can have only 2 professions so you need to get rid of weaponsmith and armorsmith or make alt and send them all the luck you have to make higher tiers.
This is something that should be a priority. This is not a stupid suggestion. This “clicking part” is really affecting our health. It’s not cancer, but RSI is not to be taken lightly. Specially when you take into account that a lot of things you do on a computer. I click at work, I click at home. Even if I want to find a receipe for a dish, I have to click.
Anet, help us, dont make us click 250 times (double clicks even) to go through a stack of bags.
As I already stated in a similar thread. I cant afford to be unemployed, but I can afford to leave GW or gaming cause of those issues.
This. Really, really this. Finished dungeon tours? Time to click for 10 straight minutes on all your luck.
Or salvage and click mid runs…Should be mass salvage or activate options.
