I’d get around 1.5g/run with the 200% gold find boost. That means that if I were to be able to run 6min runs for an hour, I’d get 15g/hour.
Keep in mind, the gold find doesn’t affect chests, so don’t just slap 200% onto how much gold you make in a run.
With that in mind, 15g/hour before counting loot is still pretty darn good.

Ahh you’re right, I forgot it won’t affect the chest money. So yes it will lower that figure to 15g/hr, still pretty good.
My bet is that after one day they nerf it to disable the use in dungeons.

Max Gold Find is… 15% + 40% + 30% + 20% + 10% + 200%
15% Rune of Scavenging (Good luck sneaking this into competent CoF groups)
40% Omnomberry Bars
30% Laureate Gold Booster
10% Gold Banner (or Hero Banner)
20% Gold Find Infusion
200% Bonus from the Facebook thingy, to be released (or the 200% from Southsun meta event, which is unavailable now)
Together, this provides a bonus 315% gold find, making you get just over 4x the normal gold from kills. (315% Bonus Gold Find + 100% Natural Gold Find = 415% Total Gold Find)
Assuming you get 40s per run (before hitting the DR rewards), this would mean that it IS possible to receive UP TO 1g66s per run. Of course, most people won’t be running all that, so in an average CoF group, you’ll most likely see these across the board:
40% Omnomberry Bar
20% Gold Find Infusion
With a possible:
30% Laureate Gold Find Booster
200% Facebook Booster
Meaning, that a normal run would net you 64s + DR rewards (60% gold find boost).
Adding in the Facebook boost, you’re getting 1g44s + DR rewards (260% gold find boost).
Adding in the Laureate Gold Find Booster, you’re getting 1g56s + DR rewards (290% gold find boost).
Note: This does not count drops from the dungeon, nor does it count the Bag of Coins you’ll find.
To get to the 15g/hour, we simply take the “ideal” run, which is 6 minutes. Running 6 minutes means 10 runs/hour. Now we can use some Physics math (aka do math to carry/convert) to finish this up.
Normal runs:
64s money/run * 10 runs/hour = 6g40s/hour (not including DR rewards and loot).
Facebook runs:
1g44s money/run * 10 runs/hour = 14g40s/hour (not including DR rewards and loot).
Laureate and Facebook runs:
1g56s money/run * 10 runs/hour = 15g60s/hour (not including DR rewards and loot).
Now, you can also do the super insane stack everything (good luck getting all those gold find banners), and get a ginormous amount of money, meaning…
Hardcore Moneymonemoney runs:
1g66s money/run * 10 runs/hour = 16g60s/hour (not including DR rewards and loot).
Assuming you’re selling your blues, greens and junk items, you can easily bump the rewards up to the nearest gold, at least. I say sell these because you’re farming so hard that there’s no time to Mystic Forge them.

The amount of gold that people get from CoF will not be tripled or quadrupled, in fact, it will only be doubled if players take the time to stack EVERY POSSIBLE Gold Find Boost in the game and maintain it when compared to the standard Omnoms + Gold Infusion run (If you don’t run with Gold Infusions, you should look into it. For the price of 20 laurels, you get free gold on every run! While you’re at a Laurel Vendor, check out the Laureate Gold Boosters, they give +30% Gold Find for one hour!)

You also need to subtract 1 Laurel for every Laureate Coin Booster.

Subtract -Insert Numerous Methods- for Gold Find Banners.
Subtract ~6g for runes of scavenging.
Subtract 1m fb likes for Facebook booster.
Oh, and we’re not even counting WvW boosts (which only affect you if the instance is hosted in your world).

Where do people figure they can get 10 runs in an hour? That’s only if you have an extremely hardcore farming group and it’s never contested. Ever. If you’re lucky you’ll get 6-7 runs in on average, even when hardcore farming with a decent group due to contested points, the need to sell, etc

There is just no way anyone ever did 10 runs in an hour. Not even with an expert hardcore farming group. Everyone who claims to have done it is a liar.
The dialogue alone takes up 3-4 minutes in this dungeon. If you look it up on youtube, the fastest speedruns you can find are around 6 minutes only because they’ve cut the entire opening sequence (entering the dungeon, choosing a path, blasting the door, etc.) from the run.

Can’t agree more about living story so far and I really hope you were trolling about your CoFgendary. But if you weren’t, at least that your particle-effect popsicle was really worth SIXTEEN hours of CoF a day (wtf!). But there are other games out there, and you know, even a life.
Just hope ANet shuts down CoF farming before it bloats the economy even more, because, at the end of the day, people who play normally are getting shafted by inflation, including farmers.
