I read a post when I was in beta that this would be coming to the game, anyone seen a suggestion of when that might be, even for just small improvements?

To be clear, before all of the folks that typically flood these threads with their anti-combat log qqing, let me be clear, I do not care about your numbers. I can see your kitten play without a combat log just fine. The current combat log however is entirely useless for your own information.

I have no ability to color the different types of data there, it does not include healing at all, does not include condition damage or effects, no boons, does not include your misses, no time stamps, no utility skills being recorded, no-procs, etc, etc. In short, it is absolute garbage, probably the worst implementation of a combat log in a long, long time.

I would take in game improvements of any kind, but ultimately the ability to log to file that I can parse would also be a nice addition.

I agree. I would also like the combat text to be improved. I can never tell what the hell is going on.

I was wondering about this the other day but the simple fact that you can’t even copy/paste your combat log is highly suggestive that they don’t want any parsing done whatsoever. Perhaps it’ll be implemented “when it’s ready”. It would be a welcome addition in my opinion.

Agreed. A better combat log would go a long way to improve looking over PvE as well as PvP.
