So, As the title says. I’m coming back to GW2 after not playing for atleast a year. I’ve got a few questions before I start playing again.

First question might be a bit awkward. But, out of the classes Ranger, Thief and Elementalist which is the LEAST played class atm? I tend to pick a variety of classes I like and play the least underplayed of them. (Wierd personality I guess?)

Second, Out of all of the Servers – Is Jade Quarry a decent server? That’s what I was playing on but not sure if it’s still a good server since I haven’t played in forever.

Third, For my last question what is the FASTEST possible way to level right now? I’ve played lots of mmorpgs and I get the general concept of them. So questing and whatnot is not a big deal for me. I’d just like to get to the max level as quick as possible and play the end-game content.

Thanks in advance

Necromancer, they’re not as popular compared to thieves, rangers, or eles.

You mentioned endgame so I’m guessing you’re talking about PvE.

Ranger and Elementalist is pretty popular. Thief is harder to play well so maybe that’s why there aren’t as many? In open world, Ranger is almost easy mode but not so accepted in dungeons. Ele is in the middle for open world and popular in dungeons. Thief is good in dungeons and hit or miss in open world. I’d say play ranger if you’re going in groups and thief if you’re not (this is reverse logic, btw).

2nd question: don’t know. With mega servers, you’re going to run into people from different servers regardless.

As for End Game, there is none! Or a different take, the whole game is your end game. All the types of content is laid out for you before max level.

Oh and 3rd question, fastest way to level:
1. Tomes of knowledge if you have them.
2. Crafting if you have the gold.
3. WvW

Not just PvE but PvP also. Normally you can’t do PvP till endgame. But I forgot you can get into WvW stuff at low levels. So yeah, I meant both :P Should’ve probably put what specificly what I was going to do.

You can PvP in this game almost right away without leveling.

Yup, you can do WvW at I think lvl18, PvP from nearly the start and dungeons starting at lv25.

As far as PvP, not really sure myself. I recently restated after an extended break myself and haven’t delved into PvP since I got back in. I chose Thief as my refresher profession and it’s fun. I’d suggest that. Rangers are survivors so they’d be decent in small scale PvP not to mention the whole pew pew change making them a newb magnet. Ele is just ele, my original and favorite profession.
