To help cut back on confusion on what a specific tag is doing on any given map.

Every commander can pick a color they like, preferably one that is not already in use by another commander. That way, you will be able to distinguish between them when there is more than one on a map. Makes sense, no? Otherwise, it would get quite chaotic when several commanders are running different lanes on an event map.

Distinction.

Just so that you can tell the difference between which is which, easier to communicate.
