These are my PERSONAL observations about GW2—- for what they’re worth:

Races: I love the Charr and the Asura— nice job on these——————Humans?? not a lot can go wrong, go wrong, go wrong!!! Very disappointing———-Sylvari——-so much COULD have been done to make them a stand-out creation————but humans in green?? c’mon!!! And the Norn—————they AIN’T “human” so why make them so—with little but a size difference to distinguish them!!

Classes – so far, my only complaint is that the “engineer” is underpowered, underarmed (lacks deodorant, too), and swims even worse!! This class REALLY needs work!!

Game Play — I cannot BEGIN to describe my anger and dismay when I “can’t control” what and when my characters attack. And it DOESN"T MATTER how my controls are set-——— the AI “decides” (apparently at random) that THAT rabbit, rat, moa, boar, doe, stag, etc.— is the threat and launches the attack——————all the while ignoring the cave bat, bear, wurm, etc that’s extremely busy having me for lunch!!! This issue MUST be resolved because it’s NOT “good gameplay”, it’s NOT comprehensible and it’s “seemingly” COMPLETELY random in nature.
My only other “peeve” is the “group” mentality for achievements, especially at the higher levels. It’s very disappointing to decide to try to complete an action in Rin (for example) only to find that no-one else is anywhere close (or even in the area). Since this game is, in my opinion, predicated on “random” groupings of players, the lack of any realistic “organizing site” is a detriment, and not an asset for game play.

Overall The work that went into designing this world, it’s tests and achievements, and the visual impact of the graphics and group actions is awesome. The variety of challenges (PvE, PvP, Fractals, Dungeons, Areas, “Stories” (which COULD be improved) is FANTASTIC!!

I dont understand the control part :o I use tab and once my target is selected, I attack it. I may be misunderstanding though. :/

It’s a little hard to follow for me too, but I thought it was referring to how sometimes you can change attunement as an elementalist and it’s no different than changing weapons out of combat. And then other times it turns on your auto-attack and puts you in-combat, when all you really wanted to do was run faster, say.

He’s probably talking about pet AI.

To clarify, regardless of how controls are set, my character(s) can be walking through an area, WITHOUT ANY TARGETING on my part, when the AI will suddenly start attacking a “yellow-ringed” critter that just happened to wander into aggro range———surprise!!!————-the other amazing thing is——————-all!! of these “critters” drop LOOT!!!! (usually junk, but an occasional pebble or weapon). This only occurs when the character is wielding a RANGED weapon, so movement doesn’t necessarily cease-sometimes resulting in aggroing a “really” dangerous foe that the AI ignores while it “butchers” the doe, (or the moa, boar, stag, etc).
