Is there a specific forum to voice feedback that will be read by Guild Wars 2 developers?

I mean, ones that they will respond to, like a conversation or something – specifically about profession mechanics.

You may be thinking of something like the CDIs. If they ever re-instate those (other than the on-going API CDI), you will be able to communicate with Devs there.

Good luck.

Would you like dev to spend time read and writing to people on forum who very often talk hate and demand answer all day from them. Or would you like dev to read feed back to see what player want and spend time working on making game better?

The developers read the forums every day. And they start or participate in profession-specific threads on a regular basis. If that is your interest, go to the forum for the profession you’d like to discuss and post in a thread where you see the red “ArenaNet logo.”

But…

A few developers/designers mentioned to me on Friday that they will be posting profession-specific threads very soon, perhaps as soon as tomorrow. These will be an “after BWE #2” view. So you may want to hold your feedback for that thread, because it’s more relevant to share feedback after the Beta Weekend Events and after you see what the devs have in mind for the future based on beta player’s input and their own observations.

That is good news. I think everyone found the dev communication post-BWE1 constructive and useful

There is no way to guarantee a dev will respond to your topic, but if you post feedback in the relevant section of the forum there’s a good chance they’ll see it and there are numerous examples of them acting on player feedback.

But be aware they rarely reply unless they have something specific to say on a topic, and even when they like an idea adding it may not be a quick process because the development takes time and they might wait until a suitable time to add it (for example they won’t make changes to skills during a PvP tournament).

What about the classes that havent had a BWE yet? Will they be given a BWE #3 and then continued support via another thread “After Release to help balance a 2nd time?” much like the other classes are getting?

Or do they only get 1 round of testing then left to the wolves again?
