Guild Wars 2

While I’ll always want more on HoT, asking about it will get me nowhere, so.

Looking for communication on things that could be added to the base game.

1.) Better/more difficult updates to world bosses.
2.) Permanent SAB
3.) More conquest pvp maps
4.) Activities that can be done in custom arenas, achievements disabled
5.) WvW tournaments

Any of these going to be in game anytime soon?

Points 1 to 3 are coming in HoT.
Please elaborate on 4.

We’re very unlikely to see anything until HoT at this point. The community has proven itself to be content enough with watching short videos and interviews with developers that then give us a lot of waffle about what might come, what they would like, their ideas.. and then some conclusions based off their thoughts rather than actual information most of the time.

So at this point in time, it’s worth putting gw2 down if you’re expecting something before HoT.

One of the pitfalls of expansions in any game, is that they tend to devalue the aspects of the game that existed before the expansion. It’ll still be there, and I still expect that bugs will get squished and that some features will continue to benefit everyone, but I’d guess that development going forward (and thus communication) is going to assume one has purchased the XPac.

I am pretty sure nothing new will be added during this period since anet is busy working on expansion and only expansion.

Which is a shame since a lot of people will quit and anet will make less money on the xpac. (Some will come back, others will when there is a sale, and some wont ever)

WOAH WOAH WOAH, What makes you think SAB is going to become permanent content in HOT? Also i believe by number four he meant the activites (sanctum sprint, keg brawl, southsun survival) Would be really fun to do just with friends or guildmates with the achievements disabled. It is currently not possible to play with your friends or guildies in those activities unless the system puts you two or seven together randomly.
