Hello Community,

i was wondering what you guys are thinking about passive stunbreaks in competitive pvp.
For me a well timed CC to interrupt an enemy´s Keyskill is one of the best and “hardest” things you can do in pvp while still taking care of myself ( dodging other attacks etc ).

So passive stunbreaks sometimes hinder your CCs to actually work, which can have drastic consequences. Trying to interrupt for example an Evis from a Warrior is often a real bad idea and will hurt a lot. You will get punished for trying to interrupt a Keyskill. You will be punished for being able to react in time.

In my opinion if passive stunbreaks really have to stay in the game at least make them visible somehow, so you dont trust in a mechanic that won´t work.

What do you guys think?

You mean like a little symbol in the buff bar, if a warrior has mobile strikes traited?

No i was relating to stunbreaks like “Last Stand” from the Warrior.
And yes a symbol in the buffbar would be a start.

So THAT’S why I can never pull / kb warriors, even though I make sure to check them for lack-of-stability first! That is pretty obnoxious.

I thought the whole point of time-limited stability skills is that you have to use your best judgement and pop them when you think you’re most likely to need them. Having 8s of stability just waiting in the wings like this.. isn’t that pretty overpowered? Good GOD it’s not even a Grandmaster trait!

I’d say interrupting is indeed a key part of higher lv play, and passive stunbreaks messes with its viability. An icon indicating whenever one is up would be nice.
