I haven’t seen any word on whether or not we are going to be able to infuse amulets in the Mystic Forge to get an inherent +5AR. It is kind of important to know because with rings if you add anything to the infusion slot than infuse it in the Mystic Forge for the inherent +5AR the infusion in the slot is destroyed. With amulets the infusions are going to cost 10 days worth of working on dailys so I don’t want to add any utility infusion until I am sure whether or not we are able to upgrade them to an (infused) version.

If you’re using the amulet for fractals, why would you put in a utility infusion anyways? Wouldn’t it be better to put a infusion from the fractal vendor to get +5 AR? I would think you’d want as much AR as you can get if you’re asking about the inherent +5 AR.

Clarification of what I meant – I plan on getting my WvW necro a ascended amulet with karma infusion because I do not planning any fractals with her so I do not care at all about AR. On my ranger, however, I am going to get a amulet with defensive or offensive slot so I can get up to 35 AR when I have all my infused crap. 10 from back, 20 from rings, 5 from ascended amulet with +5 AR infusion.

Infused versions exist for all amulets except the Triforge amulet in the GW2 database. The recipes to upgrade them, whether they currently exist or not (and if so what they are), will not be known for a few more days.

P.S. I want a gold find +5 AR infusion!

Another +5AR is all I really need since I don’t plan on going past the FotM 30’s scales. Since they didn’t let us get amulets with pristine relics I don’t see much of a point to FotM past trying to get the weapon I want. So an extra +5AR for FotM and a MF or +gold infusion for everything else I do would be great.

In a perfect world (imo) we would be able to get all ascended gear with either Pristine Relics or Laurels depending on how we want to play but……
