Condition Removal Order?

Q:

Is it first in first out? Or last in first out?
How does it handle multiple conditions simultaneously/intensity stacks?
Same for boon steal/removal? Any indicators to know which ones are going to get removed first?
What about stolen boon durations/transferred condition durations?(what happens if I steal a stack of might from X different sources each with it’s own duration?)
Also, as a thief Lacerator Strike is stealing all might stacks(So 25 stacks stolen = 25 stacks for thief), but http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bountiful_Theft as written, removed all but gives a player only one.

Halcyon: i think you posted in a wrong thread.

OP: that is a real mess. From what i understant, basically every condition removal does it their own way. Some prioritize specific conditions, others remove them the FIFO way, and some seems to just do it at random. Almost as if they all have been designed by different people that weren’t talking to each other.

Actions, not words.

Good question. I’ve been wondering about this for some time now.

My gut feel is:

  • If you’re really low on life, burning, poison and bleeding will be removed last.
  • If you’re trying to get away from a huge mob, then cripple and chilled will be removed last.

I’d like an official answer as well.

Random but I think bleeding get more chance to be removed when it has more stacks.

The most recently applied condition is removed first. Adding an extra stack of bleeding or vulnerability moves it to the top of the list, so bleeding could be the first condition inflicted yet still the first to be removed.

^ This. If you are being destroyed by torment, bleeding, burning, poisoning and have a cripple as well, the cripple will be gone and you will be left to happily deal with the “less” worrying ones, no worries!

I don’t think condition remove was last in first out.

I did a test with necro and ele.
Necro has no trait or sigil equip then use staff 2, 3 to apply bleeding(2) poison and chill to Ele.
Ele switch to water attune to remove 1 condition

The result of 10 times was
bleeding removed 7 times
poison removed 2 times
chill removed 1 time

Then I change the necro to scepter 1 and staff 3 to apply bleeding(1) poison and chill to Ele.

The result of 10 times was
bleeding removed 5 times
poison removed 3 times
chill removed 2 times

So the last in first out is not true since bleeding was the first in every time but still got removed for the most times.
