Q:

Hi all

Are condition durations maxed at 100%?

Or can the durations go beyond 100%?

Eg. let’s say you have runes that give you a + 60% in burn or chill duration, and + 30% condition duration from traits, and finally + 40% condition duration from food. This sums to a total of (60% + 30% + 40%) = +130% condition duration.

So do you benefit from the whole +130% condition duration or is it maxed at +100%?

It’s not easy to know, because of all the bugs in tooltips. I hope some devs or someone with actual testing could shed some light on the matter.

Cheers

A:

As far as I know, the duration for any condition can’t get higher than +100%. However, there’s one exception: The Neromancer trait “Lingering Curse”. It lets conditions applied by scepter last 33% longer, and it will increase the duration for these conditions beyond +100% (assuming you already reach 100%/close to 100% without the trait). If what I’ve read is true, then that’s because it replaces the skills on your scepter with skills that have a longer base condition duration… thus it actually even increases the effect of your (normal) +condition duration.

But if you’re not a Necromancer using a scepter and this trait, then there’s no way to go beyond +100% duration for conditions.

Thank you for the answer. Appreciated.

Now, I gotta go and remake the build, no need to have more than 100% condition duration!
