The team at ArenaNet have listened to the fans and figured out there is money to make from the Gem store and in the near future adding an Racial Transformation Kit and features compensating for the problems this may cause.
Racial Transformation Kit
Tired of playing you choosen race and invested to much time to start from scratch?
Now you can transform yourself to any other race by bying the Racial Transformation Kit for the price of 1200 Gems in the Gem Store.
This kit resets all your story progression and you must replay the story if you wish to buy any of the orders armor.
Notice you will also have to choose a new background for your character like with the new story reset option, more on that further down.
Any Cultural armors is Transmuted into an equivalent tier skin.
Story Replay
We are adding a new replay feature to the game. Now you can replay any mission from the Hero screen.
There will also be a story reset option for anyone who wants to replay the story allowing you to choose new paths in the storyline.
This will also allow you to change your background resulting in new personal stories to be told.
But be aware once you reset your story there is no going back!
New Achievements, Leveling scaling and Rewards for replaying story missions.
