I am wanting to play a little again. (and the topic can’t fit that) But…

I have no idea where this goes, this board is a bit confusing. I’ve read through the FAQ, ROC and other posts, but it doesn’t help.

The suggestion forum is archived. (so where does that go now?) I find some really nice topics, only to wade through the thread reading and then find out it is closed or just got closed. Can’t find any answers whether we are allowed to continue closed subjects. (maybe it just went off course or something else)

If this is written anywhere, then I have been unable to find it.

Suggestion topics now should be made in the same sub-forum as the subject, for example, a suggestion about how a dungeon should be, need to be posted in the Dungeon forum.

About continue a closed subject, depends of why the subject was closed.

Depends if the thread was closed because it derailed or if the subject is simply forbidden to talk about (bots for instance).

The topics in question was either archived or closed due to derailment. They also scold the users for not using the search function. But I can’t find any of the topics using the search function. (perhaps I am using it wrong)

Well search here sucks to be frank about it but often that isn’t the problem, it’s usually just not joining in the “official” thread or the largest one or not even bothering to look for similar topics on the first page. And then there are threads were the same arguments are repeated over and over and over again between a handful of players. It’s obvious nobody will be able to convince the other and all it does is raise the post count.

You can use Google to search by adding site:forum-en.guildwars2.com to the end of the query.

You might find some of the Stickies helpful. There are usually some in almost every sub-forum, including News and Announcements. Good luck!
