Guild Wars 2

Hello all,

Obviously this topic has been discussed somewhere along the line before, I’m just curious as if maybe a member from ArenaNet could shed some light on this.

Honestly, as of right now, there’s literally no point in me using the Gem Shop, I can’t think of any good reason to use this. The costumes are pretty cool, some of them are funny looking, but really, what’s the point of using them, if you buy the costumes in the first place to “Show Off” essentially?

So, my question is; are there any future plans for more cosmetic armor pieces? There’s only three right now, the Guild Wars 1 armor sets, and I seldom see people walking around with the sets. Used to see it more often at the beginning of the launch, and a month into Guild Wars 2, but alas, I’m sure those people have left, or simply just got bored of looking at the same sets of three different types of cosmetic armor types, especially since the one’s you want, are “Class Restricted”.

Anyways, would be nice if someone from the “Team” could actually answer this. I was hoping to throw money at this game blindly, there’s just nothing too appealing to me, other then what I’ve already got, the increased bank/Inventory.

It’s very likely that new skins will be introduced to the gem store over time – I say this having seen new costumes being constantly added in GW1; usually this stuff is tied to new content or events, so you might see something as early as Wintersday.

I am also looking forward to this.
