I would absolutely love this for my mesmer, since he is a jester! Love that hat/mask combo! Given that costumes are primarily gem store skins, I’d like to see this on the gem store someday. I mean, the model’s already there, so let’s make it official!

After all, “a jester unemployed is nobody’s fool.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t a lot more costumes in the pipeline.

Now that I think about it, this would’ve been an awesome April FOOLS day costume!

For the last two years I was hoping this would be an April Fool’s day sale item, even more so now do I wish they had it for sale. Really do hope they add it in the future.

I’m sorry to tell you OP, but costumes are bugged for mesmers. Our clones doesn’t display them, so anyone can spot the real mesmer wearing the costume between the clones wearing the default gear.

Hopefully that bug will get fixed.

My guild is .. The Jesters. One of us just had a baby and an artist in the guild did the most adorable sketch of a baby in an oversized floppy jester hat. Ever since those jester town clothes got datamined our guild’s been drooling for them. I think Digiacomo … spelling? … was wearing it, though, so it might be like the Anise outfit, existing merely to clothe one NPC.

The only problem is that if it is released to us, now it is not likely to be mix and match. Possibly not even dyeable. And frankly, that removes any great need to buy it. So when you ask for outfits, make sure to ask for them as armor pieces — or you’ll regret having your wishes fulfilled.

Well, I like the outfit as a whole, just so long as it’s dye-able.

And that sucks about the clones-not-wearing-the-costume bug. That should really be addressed soon, especially because of how easy it makes it to spot the real mesmer.

It’s nice seeing that I’m not the only one who wants a good jester costume. Let’s hear it for all the fools out there!
