So I’ve found the new living story to be pretty interesting so far and I’ve been thinking about what it might lead to. One of my guesses was to a new zone, possibly the Far Shiverpeaks. The F & F description sort of suggests that the blizzards are coming from the Far Shiverpeaks so it would make sense if in the final part we go there to end the source of the storms.

On the other hand there are also dust storms caused by earthquakes in Ascalon so it could also lead to a new zone, or possibly the appearance of Primordus or one of his lieutenants.

What do you guys think it will lead to, and do you think those theories are plausible?

It’s not likely. They said they would be focusing on improving rather than adding new areas.

In terms of persistent effects, I predict that (at most) we might see edited features in Diessa Plateau, Wayfarer Foothills, and other affected zones.

They said no new zones with these updates.

Oh, well that sucks. I guess I’ll just have to wait for an expansion pack for new areas :x

Not in this update, they really do need to though. I can’t count how many players have just given up on a sylvari or asura character because their areas do not have a natural flow in the story or proceed in a logical order to the higher level areas. It almost seems like the map was incomplete on release and the asura/sylvari were the ones to get the short end of the stick.

This is unlikely as he would be residing in the Maguma Wastes and the events happening to the Charr now are coming from Charr Homelands most likely being Fame Legion’s doing
