Could lag effect RNG drops from chest?
Example I did get 2 minis between 2 or 3 chests.
No and people need to stop attributing nonsense to RNG chests. If you stand at X spot it will increase the rng chests or wear magic find seriously? It is a coincidence
Of course it does. It’s magic!
Whenever you open a Dragon Coffer, think “jade dragon weapon ticket” really really hard and one will appear.
I find standing on one foot, naked, while eating cornchips with salsa works for me. Though I had to try several different brands of salsa before I found the right combo.

Salsa!? Of course! It makes perfect sense now.

Why do some of you take this post as a joke?
Lag combined with a bug, could easily make the same items drop twice in a row.

Man, I remember this in Diablo 2 – some people’d get really cheesed off if you didn’t pull the boss to exactly the right “lucky spot” to down it – and when the desired loot didn’t drop it was obviously your fault you scrub

nothing in computers are truly random. remember that.
If you really think ‘lag’ affects chest drops, then don’t open them ‘really, really fast’.
I guess.
Not sure why lag would affect the data coming in or going out, other than making it delayed, but……..
I could see severe lag maybe affecting it but honestly probably not. It all depends on whether Anets servers handle the calculations or our gw2 client.
What I wonder is does DR affect chest/bag drops. I’ve never opened more than maybe a dozen or so at a time but there are a lot of players here that have opened hundreds if not thousands.
I sure wouldn’t put it past them. lol
