So I figure if we keep spamming Arenanet enough about releasing Countesse Anise’s armor as a gem store skin, then eventually our wish may come true.

What do you guys think of the armor and how long do you think they’ll keep us waiting (if you think they’ll ever grant us this oh so splendid piece of clothing)?

wouldn’t doubt it. That’s how the forums seem to work. People cry enough and they get it their way. Not to be rude or anything but that’s just how it is.

I understand that I’m being sort of whiny seeing as I posted this thread for the single reason of wanting this skin. But yes, that is how a forum works, is it not? Also, no offense taken.

Oh, didn’t know that, thanks for telling! Anyway, the second reason I made this post was to see what the general opinion about the garment was. And also what other garments people want to see (I’m sure there’s also already a thread for that, but I’m lazy and self-centered).

Well with the new outfit/town clothes tonic thing we should be seeing clothes tonics easy enough hit the store soonish right? I’d like to hope at least!

Hope is all that we have in this day and age…

That and tons of game content compared to older MMO’s. I guess I should consider myself sort of spoiled seeing as they constantly release new looks and I keep moping over this specific look.

Not saying I planned it that way, but “Give us your tailor’s adress!” was too long!

I love her armor set and want it for my ladies because it’s a little haute but still practical to fight in. It’s detailed but cohesive/sleek and not to the point of distraction as with some armors (-stares at ascended light-). Look at the corset pattern, the metal ornaments at the bottom of corset, the lace at the top of the boots and at the ankle and neck. Plus I love the shorts-over-leggings look – adding the tall elegant boots is even more swoon-worthy. If only there wasn’t that terrible crotch flap hanging from the top (why do designers do this. Is it because she’s just wearing tights? Or are those actually shorts? Please let it be more than just a loincloth over tights), though I think it balances nicely with the side flap of cloth.

But tbh I see the draw of leaving certain sets for certain major NPCs. I would prefer that they add armor inspired by her instead (make her a fashion icon instead of creating a horde of Anise clones). I think we need more diversity in armor, especially outside of the gem store.

I’d also love armor inspired by the head norn shamans (Raven Shaman armor needs a player equivalent like yesterday).

Well, there’s her wiki-page at least. She’s one of the main npc’s that you get to engage with as a human character during your early storyline.

Yeah, as long as i get the main chest and leg combo or something similar i’m happy (that dress is awesome!). Really like the unique shoulder armor design as well.

People have been asking for it for 2 years. We know they had a player model because it was featured in the mesmer preview video.

And yet it has not been released and they never said anything about it.

Thanks for posting the pic Zanshin. I don’t have a human char so I don’t think I’ve ever seen her before. Prefer the ‘original’ version, I’m not keen on that front panel and I love the miniskirt/long boots look.

I am happy to see I’m not the only one! First time I saw her in-game I was in love with her outfit style. I’ve been wishing since forever for them to release it as an armor skin or something. Or at least something similar.

I didn’t know her outfit originally had a mini skirt lol! I am glad they didn’t keep it that way… would’ve been hard for me to take her seriously if she looked hooker-ish. :S If it’d been a long dress/skirt then it would’ve probably looked really nice though. Maybe something above-the-knee length in the front and long in the back. :shrug:

+1, ever wanted it from before release. It’s the perfect mesmer “armor”.

YES! I need this armor… To survive in this cold world. I tend to afk in Queen’s Throne Room just to look at Anise’s beautiful armor.

This. So much so! Personally, I find mesmer appropriate attire somewhat lacking in the game. I ran with the Heritage armor set for my mesmer for the longest time but getting a little bored of it.

I would like this very much. I also hope it’s one of those skins that can be used for all 3 armor types.

My main character is a Hunter but I love all of the darn Light Armor gear. Darn it all!

I would love to see this comes up in the gem store as an outfit. Not the Anise version exactly but the the code version would be fine: [&AgECWQAA].

Before GW2 was released, we were teased with screenshots featuring this armor and never got to wear it and it breaks my heart.

Would happily pay 600-800 gems for this armor set. (Wearable in WvW, PvP, PvE, etc…) Or make this an armor skin that can be crafted via Forge etc..
