Q:
If a player start and the SAB end while his achievement is x/8, when SAB will be back he will resume the achievement or it will restart?
I’m guessing it will restart, as often Meta-type Achievements do for Festivals, but I’m hoping it won’t.
Good luck.
We don’t know for sure one way or another. Repeatable Festival metas usually reset, but they also don’t usually give anything of particular importance, unlike this one which is one of only a couple ways to get a full set of weapon skins. So I could see them carrying it over as well.
It isn’t the meta achievement the OP is asking about. It’s the infinite one that you can do as many times as you want.
Course Work is for completing 3 SAB daily achievements (basically it’s Daily Completionist but for SAB). You need to do this for 8 days to complete the Course Work infinite achievement to get a Kaiser Snake weapon skin.
Course Load achievement is the one you can do as many times as you want for completing 3 dailies for 8 days.
From what I’ve seen, usually these types of achievements, and almost all other festival achievements, are reset the next time the festival comes around. In other words, if you don’t finish it before SAB festival ends, you’ll have to start it over the next time.
Note: The Course Load achievement is under Festivals>World 2.
Edit: I had the achievements backwards LOL.

Actually, I was looking at the Course Load achievement and noticed something which may suggest that it actually going to carry over to next time the Festival rolls around.
Its repeatable infinitely for the Kaiser Weapon Skin chest. Nothing much to glean from that. But the AP for the achievement is 20 points per repeat up to a limit of 5. Considering there are only 19 days in the Festival this year, it means you can only do it a maximum of 2 times (with a few leftover). The 5x repeat limit for AP is pretty pointless with that fact in mind, its literally impossible to even reach that limit (or get close). So its possible Anet was thinking ahead and put a limit on it because eventually we’d be able to reach that limit. In a few years.
Granted, that’s still just conjecture.
