For example, I have a Necro with full tailoring but want full ascended for my Mesmer. Is it possible to craft on my Necro and transfer to my Mesmer? Thanks

Yes, Ascended gear is account bound so you can use the same ascended light armor on any of your light classes.

Also, as MachineManXX said, the armor is account bound so you don’t have to craft another set (if the stats are the same)… you can just pass it from the necro to the mesmer through your bank.

Ascended gear is really necessary in high levels’ fractals only, if you don’t want to waste money and mats you can gear your alts in exotic and that’s perfectly fine

Thanks for the help! Well that begs another question. How can I get exotic armour with Assassin’s stats? I can’t seem to find any anywhere.

I don’t know if it is sold by any NPCs, someone else probably does.

I know it can be crafted and bought from the TP.

I think the only way to get armour with Assassin stats is to craft it (or buy it from TP).

Is a super useful page that may not be trivial to find if you don’t know what it is called. It appears that assassin’s is only available through crafting.
