So I learnt the hard way that you could only craft a precursor once. I wasnt entirely sure if that was the case but I thought that since we could still craft the items needed in the legendary it would be okay.

I intended to remake Spark only to find out in the very last step after wasting ascended mats and gold that “I have already crafted this item.” I dont understand why Anet would let us craft T1 and T2 of the dagger, but not T3. The T1 & T2 daggers and Spark specific crafts such as “Fuel Canister” and “Regulator Nozzle” should have a “I have already crafted this item” on it so that its so foolproof that even someone like me wont make the mistake on wasting so many mats.

I know I was ignorant in not doing further research about whether we could only craft it once or not but please give me back the mats and gold I have wasted. I also do not see the point in being able to craft T1 and T2 if we arent able to finish it. I have already sent 3 support tickets but I want to get an official reply from Anet so that I know my pleas arent being ignored

All collections are one time only. Every one of them. Usually customer support will refund the mats you spent.

You can still craft a second legendary, you just have to buy the precursor off the TP.

If you ‘sent 3 tickets’ in-game, you will garner no response, as indicated on the Bug Report window.

If you ‘sent 3 tickets’ using the web-form accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below, you will only delay the response, as each ticket moves to the back of the queue. If you did send in tickets to the CS Team, close out all except the original, and only respond to the nearly-immediate automated reply, if necessary.

Good luck.
