By now people can buy them, since by now you can have 3 laurels… so did anyone buy them? Does anyone now know what they do in detail? I’m very curious.

I, too, am curious. Surely some intrepid craftsman has procured one of these by now?

So no one knows? By now I’d assume someone must have gotten it. I myself won’t get it since I’ve already reached 400 with every single crafting so it’s pointless for me, though I’m still curious.

I just purchased the Leatherworker Starter Kit. It contained (all materials are 1st tier):
120 raw leather squares
90 cloth scrapes
50 cloth threads
9 each of every fine crafting material except for dust and claws, of which there were none

The shame of it is I just plowed through the first tier of Leatheworking on a new character yesterday.

It stands to reason the other Starter Sets to be exactly the same (replacing leather and/or cloth with metal and/or lumber where appropriate), except for Jeweler and Chef Starter Sets. I’ll be interested to see what those contain.

Curiosity made the cat buy crafting starter kits.

Curiosity will also make the cat buy those class specific gear boxes that the cat is SO curious about just to find out he spent 5 laurels buying regular armor that there’s nothing new about.

At the end of the day, it’s helpful if even only a few people buy the boxes, so the information about the contents can go on the wiki &c, especially to determine if the contents of a give box are fixed or randomised

Seems the T6 material box only has 3 items in it.
Looks like a waste of laurels to me… at least at this point in the game.
