I’ve read that your progress is saved for crafting. So, even though you have 2 active slots for crafting, you could get them all up to 400. Is this correct? If so, how?

After you have leveled one to 400 you can switch to another. Just ask the crafting vendor. He/she will ask you to drop one to start leveling a new craft. Your progress is saved.

Forgot to mention that there is a fee. A few silvers.

Oh you can switch at any level of that craft, doesn’t have to be maxed.

You pay a fee ONLY if you switch to a profession in which you already have levels. The fee is per level, 10c? 5c? So if you switch to a brand new profession, yea, it’s free.

Just my two cents, so take it for what it’s worth…..

I personally wouldn’t switch crafting professions. Since all alts share the same bank, I would crate a new toon and let them craft. 1) no fee for the new crafting profession 2) you can quickly level up the new toon just by crafting.

Even if you don’t want to play it as a main toon, it’s quite fun to see how other professions and races work, and it’s a nice change of pace. If you really don’t like the toon, you can give them some big banks, and use it as extra storage.
