I have a minor complaint, I was going to craft ascended tizlaks (commanders) armor. So over the course of 6 days I charged Quartz. (Ridiculous this is gated for a account bound material) then I made the exotic insignia for commanders. I know I can change stars of another ascended but I chose at the time not to go that route. So then I bought the recipe to make the ascended insignia, easy enough. After I spent the gold and used my mats I made the ascended insignias. (Like 500-600g) I then made and bought the damask items needed to make the armor. I also made the vision crystals required. Now without thinking I didn’t look to see that the recipe isn’t a bought for laurels or bought from proof of heroics or at the end of DS Meta. I know this is my fault for not looking first but it can only be acquired through a rare drop. That I have to get 6 times. (That’s to make exotic too.) now I have the ascended insignias that I can’t use in the mystic forge to change armor (you need exotic) and I’m stuck having to grind DS until I get the recipe drop, 6 times from a noxious pod. Come on anet this is ridiculous, I should be able to buy the recipe with laurels, through currency completing hot metas or proof of heroics. This is very frustrating. probably 1000g now tied up in armor I can’t make.

If you can’t be bothered waiting for the drop, throw money at the TP where the recipies are on sale. Unfortunately it’s quite expensive.
