Guild Wars 2

I would like to come to have recipes for crafting racial weapons and armor. Of all the racial and weapon recipes that Asura is capable of it’s surprising that are currently are not any asuran Open or armor recipes.

The Guild Wars 2 Wiki states that asuran weapons were once available from a vendor named Blopp in Metrica Province, Jester Falls. The wiki also States the reason for the removal has something to do with game design changes in favor of Cultural Armor only purchaseabl from NPC merchants.

I think that creating and expanding on finger race specific armor and weapons will encourage more players to wear those appearances and that had to a better visual aesthetic within Guild Wars 2. I see the visual aesthetic will be improved because I believe vetscene racial specific gear instead of generic gear on characters would improve player’s ability to Route Planner character and see themselves as their character.

Please readd recipes for race specific armor and weapons.

The race-specific weapons drop often. You can also purchase them in WvW. They aren’t anything special. Same as Tier1, Tier2 Cultural weapons. Only Tier3 are purchase-only.

Cultural armor is something entirely different, and can only be purchased from City vendors for Gold or in WvW for BoHs and Gold.

What Asuran cultural weapons are you talking about? Glyphic? You can buy those from the trading post or an NPC in Rata Sum. Peacemaker is sold by an NPC in Rata Sum. The armor is purchaseable but only wearable by Asura. I don’t see how making the weapons craftable would have more people use them and the armor is supposed to be restricted by race for all the cultural armors.

You want ANet to add recipes so you can make them? It’s not sufficient that you can get these as drops, from the TP, or from vendors?

I feel being able to craft these items (with the possible exception of T3 Cultural Armor) would not make players want to use them more, but just the opposite. They would become even more common than they already are. Few use the weapons because they are the very first set of weapons that drop.

I see a few players with Cultural Armor, though there are probably more than I think, as I can’t really recognize all the tiers.
