nowadays, leveling crafting to 400 only gives your character 7 levels up per crafting profession. used to give 10 levels , but that changed when they introduced ascended crafting. so taking ascended out, if you do all profession to 400, you only gain 8x 7levels = 56 levels.

it will cost a lot more that 300g i think if you want to level up solely by crafting, which include maxing crafting profession to 500.
