I logged in to HOTM and I’m getting sub 30 FPS. I normally get 60-100. I have not changed any settings. Does anyone know why I would be getting such low FPS?

The game was suffering a DDoS attack (probably targeted against something other than GW2). It’s going to take time for things to be back to normal.

Aside from that, the internet’s backbone services haven’t fully adapted to all the traffic from the Internet of Things (e.g. appliances that order food when you cooked your second to last waffle), as well as all our streaming, not to mention hackers. In other words, from time to time, some of us will experience bad latency in this game, with nothing to do with ANet or even our own ISP.

I used to be in your situation too, but now I’m not. You being in your situation is unfortunate, but don’t take it out on me.

I checked NVidia’s Reddit and it seems people playing other games are having issues with the latest drivers… That may be it too
