Create ideas for "solving" the DE diminishing returns.
DE karma isnt effected by DR, I have screen shots of repeating the same DE’s 13 times, the rewards all the same.
Solution: Do something else.
Karma is worthless anyway.
Karma isn’t worthless… I love the Arcon armour set.
Also, I’ve never managed to hit the DR on Dynamic Events. Maybe I am doing it wrong?
Basically I think if you do 5-6 events in 30 mins or got 2000 karma points in 30 mins, you get limited (feels that way).
@LoneWolfie (sorry would quote, but forum won’t let me)
When I’ve not wanted to bother with Orr, I’ve farmed Harathi, Sparkfly and even Queensdale, event after event after event for hours and still not hit any DRs.
I am not saying this is the same for everyone, but I’ve yet to see a drop in karma – and since the introduction of DR I’ve been specifically looking for it.

You can take a look at this post. I think it’s more to do with doing more than X events in 30 minutes? Something like that.

I keep saying this like a broken record.
I did 2 threads on the DR.. one farming the same 6 trolls, and one farming the same DE’s
The trolls showed signs of DR
THE DE DID NOT SHOW ANY SIGNS OF DR
I wonder how people play other games. Do the same people sit in one spot in say Skyrim just to try and max out their level? And then what, when you are finished getting every skill 100 percent, grinding out whatever achieves and so on, do you just go and enjoy the game then? Or because there is no more grind to do is that just it, end of the game? I mean there are plenty of entertaining things to do in this game that do not require sitting in a single area. I just don’t get how thats fun and when the game tries to tell you to at least just change up your spot it’s a huge ‘kitten’ fit on how the game is terrible for not giving you the instant gratification you demand of it. Play and pay for stuff in a facebook game if you want instant gratification.
Orr best max level end game zone ever…Should put DR on it so people don’t flock there…o wait…
First of all, I think some kind of DR is necessary, otherwise you will have the vast majority of people grinding the sweet spots while the rest of the maps are a wasteland. But using DR as a measure against bots seems callow to me. Sure, bots users are hurt by it, but they have no emotional investment and they even will profit from gold-selling if they get like a thousand porous bones a day on their countless hacked accounts.
The real damage is done to the player who quickly loses interest without some kind of incentive and an element of joyful surprise. Personally, I alternate places and events just because I don“t like repetitive gameplay for hours, so I am not really hurt by DR.
But I think one way to make a better world for heavy grinders and “normal” players is to adjust the rewards for the various events (and the associated kills). Tower defense types (where countless mobs rush to a bottleneck, guess those are the most farmed) should give considerably less reward than escort or conquest events – but the rewards for latter should be boosted considerably. So even with DR in effect, you create an enviroment where people are actually incited to do different things instead of farming the same spot over and over.
