How exactly does one obtain a skin? I want to get just 3 of the available skins… What do I need to do to get one?

In other words, finish the Course Work Achievement 8 times over the duration of SAB.

You can get 1 token per day for finishing the Course Work achievement (complete 3 SAB dailies), and 8 tokens once every 8 days for completing Course Load (complete Course Work 8 times). So you should be able to get 37 tokens this year (or 45 if you have a few days’ progress on Course Load carried over from last year) – enough to get 3 skins as long as they’re not all two-handed weapons.

… but why are the Crimson Assassin skins different prices, with two-handed skins being twice the cost of an offhand? And if it’s because off-hands are supposed to be half the price of a two-handed weapon, why does Course Work then only provide half a weapon skin in compensation?

Course Work gives you 1 token. Course Load gives you the weapon box, which is primarily meant for the orange skins, but has 8 tokens as an alternative. It’s meant to be a daily grind.

The different prices is due to 2h vs 1h weapons. Offhand weapons are even cheaper because they’re overshadowed and main + off = 2h.

Only temporarily, as the Devs are looking into the issue (of SAB Dailies requiring HoT).

I think making them so expensive is their way of preserving the content for the next few years. Now they can completely ignore SAB for 2 or 3 years as people unlock 1-3 skins each time
