I dont want healers (though personally it is my favorite roll, was r*sto dru*d in W*W and reached 2k rating with it) because that would implement an informal healer, but imagine if certain skills (namely direct healing or regen) that based on your % chance applied a critical heal.

I will admit it, I like seeing flashy big numbers in my screen, critical damage is currently the only thing that can do the flashy thing, even if its hitting like 10 (mesmers clones lol), but imagine, if balanced, allow for critical heals, it would bring FLASHINESS to healing and make it even more appealing. I know thats the reason I rolled a tree before(I also play sylvari, fav race).

Thoughts?

a lot of stuff would have to be tweaked not only that, maybe not straight up buffs but rather a rework. and some counterplay around that (something this game have failed to do with some mechanics, namely stealth), but that apart, something that have made green numbers appealing even more appealing is BIG GREEN NUMBERS, i like green more than I like red, but I prefer flashiness over anything else in the game, including weapons and armor looks, hence why I play zerker, because I feel important (to myself) to have all this flashy stuff in my screen.
