Guild Wars 2

Is it just me, or should the Crystalline Blade be more translucent? Perhaps it’s just a minor issue or preference having come from Guild Wars 1. As it looks now, it’s more like a hunk of plastic rather than crystalline glass.

Maybe… but this sword is the only one I have to perfectly match my guardian so I hope it never changes ^^

It doesn’t have to be completely see through, just enough to help the appearance of it being crystal.

Too bad we can’t dye weapons, this would be a great one for color customization.

if you damage the surface of glass say use it for a sword it will no longer be transparent. Therefore your arrangement is moot.

Crystals aren’t necessarily translucent. Pyrite (fools gold) forms crystals but it’s completely opaque, as are many other crystals.

Having said that it is darker than the crystalline sword from GW1, but maybe that was deliberate.

I miss the GW1 skin. I wish the GW2 version of the Fellblade looked better, too — the shadow effect on the sword might as well be invisible.
