Completed it once, considering to complete with all my alts to gather as much crystalline ore as possible. So, do we get the 40 ore every time?

Alternatively, is DS event better than repeating the story?

Yes and No.

The story repeat works and is fine. Keep in mind you’ll also get the black lion key on each character and there is no cooldown on this step.

No, the DS meta event isn’t better from a pure number standpoint. It’s RNG and you may or may not get them from noxious pods at the end.

Ultimately i think they should change the chest reward at the end of the DS meta from Dragonite Ore to Crystaline but they may have future plans for more ways to acquire Crystaline Ore.
