Hello All,

Today I am here to hear your opinions on the gap between Cultural Armor.

Prices:

Tier 1- 2 Gold, 88 Silver.
Tier 2- 7 Gold, 10 Silver
Tier 3- 119 Gold.

How do you feel about the gap between prices?

Tier 1 and Tier 2 aren’t that far apart, only about a 5 gold difference.

Now lets look at Tier 2 and Tier 3. A whopping 112 gold difference.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you like the work to get the highest Tier, or do you find it ridiculous? Feel free to post photos of your character and it’s armor. Please answer with Yes (give a brief description as to why) or No (give a brief description as to why not)

Below I will post a picture of my Tier 2 Cultural Human Heavy Armor.

It’s ridiculous, especially since (in my opinion) on most races their best-looking armor seems to be tier 2, tier 3 is a status symbol for farmers, no-lifers, and people with an unlimited line of credit; kind of like legendaries are becoming…

EDIT: Just to clarify, I’m not saying ‘everybody who has these is a no lifer or farmer’, and if you did earn yours through normal play, kudos to you and you should be proud, just as surely as you should be appalled that ANet seems intent on diminishing your accomplishments through gemstore gold purchasing.

I hate to come in to a topic to see that I already have been insulted here -_-

I don’t find it that bad. It’s a very expensive skin that shows that you invested time to get it. Most tier 3 skins also resemble the outfits of the main characters (Eir, (norn, medium armor, tier 3), Zoja (asura, light armor, tier 3)).
Saving up for asura light tier 3 armor at this point.
