Hi all,

I see that the trading or RL currency is banned, but what about Gem cards? If I was to buy 20 lots of 2000 gems on cards, and trade the codes for in-game items, with people I know and play with in real life, is that banned or no?

Thanks

If someone wants to gift you an item in-game, that is fine. If you want to give someone a Gem Card outside the game, that is fine, as well.

If, however, there should ever be a problem with either gift, it is not something the CS Team would support or get involved with in any way, shape or form.

Good luck.

I believe it still counts as trading RL currency for in game items rule.

My advice would be to organise the exchange over skype/ts/vent or some chat format that way it won’t flag the chat system in game.
I haven’t done it, but I know a few who do. They used the chat system once and got a temp ban. So now they just pm each other through ts or they skype while they trade their goods.

I would not recommend doing this unless you know the person extremely well as this is still a trade for RL currency (in a twisted way).
